We are a P-6 school located in Falmouth, Nova Scotia. We have 227 students registered in our school, with ten classrooms. Our catchment area is the Falmouth and Mount Denson communities.

FDS is a PEBS (Positive, Effective, Behavior Support) School. This means we identify and clearly communicate to students what positive behavior expectations are and support them in meeting these expectations. Once a month all students and staff are involved in a Peace Group lesson that is conducted in a multi-aged group.

Our school is blessed with a lot of support from our parents, community and business community. Volunteers play an important role in our day to day operations. Our students are kept very busy with many extra-curricular events and leadership roles.
